How to close apps on iPhone 13 & 13 Pro

Want to close an app that you launched on iOS 15 or later models and didn’t know how to remove? Apple recommends closing applications is very important as it may save a lot of battery for you, contrary to when applications are running in the background.


More specifically closing or force-stop an app on your smartphone is a bit baffling since they do not hold the physical button that used to come up with the previous versions. However, closing an app is very straightforward as there is a way to turn it off, even without the button being around the newer handsets.

Here’s are the steps to close or force quit an app on iOS 15 models. You have to learn a few simple swipe gestures to see opened applications, remove opened applications, skip background functioning applications, etc.

  • Go to the home screen and swipe it up from the bottom to the middle. You can do so even while playing a game or utilizing specific apps.
  • Here’re your all active background apps. You can swipe left or right to find any application to remove.
  • If you want to access a certain application, tap on it. To exit swipe it to the right of the screen.
  • Now to remove or Force quit an app swipe it all the way upward and repeat the same procedure to close all other applications you want to. You can also close multiple applications in one attempt by using two or three fingers at one time.
